The course of Octave saw the fortification of mutual trust and relationship with the client. Thereby I was hired to support the communication requirements at the group level. To start with branding, the client provided me the following keywords: Growth, Progress, Refreshing / Vibrant, Modern / Contemporary, & Elegant / Dependable.

The above information from the client did spark some chemical processes in my mind, but not before a few rounds of back and forth did we realize what we were waiting for... And then it clicked perfectly like 'nothing else!'.

The core concept is to convery strongly, the vision and significance of growth and progress in the modern sense. This is apparent in the big bold letters, in the arrow at the top-right (indicating upward trend as in statistical graphs), and finally in the slogan 'Surging ahead'. The curved box adds the perfect elegance and style to suit one of the core business sectors of the group, i.e., hospitality. Furthermore, the color-coding in view of future expansion and diversification, ideally accommodates sub-branding under the perfect VRS umbrella.
